Ewimbong Lesline Ndoh by her stage name Lesline quits secular music to sing for exclusively the glory of God to be able to win souls for Christ.
On her 24th birthday that is on February 8, 2021 the musician announced that despite her touch in gospel over the years while in her former record label, she quits to be a solo and a full time gospel musician.

“I will no longer do secular music, but will only sing for the Glory of God. With an assignment from Luke 4:18, this means henceforth, Lesline will only release and feature in gospel tracks. Preaching the word of God to the world through music, transforming lives as well as winning souls for Christ.

Asked on her motivating factor, she explained “before signing with my former label I was a solely gospel musician, let’s say I signed a misunderstood contract which later cut any links I had with gospel related music unknowingly.

Her love for music she disclosed started at the tender age of 3 where she had to sing at her uncle’s wedding, where she thrilled the public with an outstanding performance. She became a choir mistress at 8-year-old, and led several music groups in her school years like the GJARLS an all girl band and the EAGLES of Government High School Limbe.

Ewimbong Lesline Ndoh it should be said hails from Wum in the Northwest region. She is the last child of two girls; Lesline lost her dad at a tender age of 9months old and grew up with a single mum who doubles as a pastor and teacher.

She noted that growing up with a very difficult childhood didn’t stop her love and burning desire for music as family members kept encouraging her and were her first fans.

In 2012, Lesline started up the Champions Gospel Band an interdenominational band alongside some friends, and in 2013, she won her first ever award in an inter school competition and emerged ALCEF QUEEN, in 2015 she was a finalist at the MUTZIGSTAR Competition and emerged 5th position.

In 2016, she took part at the singing competition dubbed The Voice Afrique Francophone were she electrified viewers with her high-pitched vocal performances. Her enactment of Moni Bile’s hit song Osi Tapa Lambo during the blind auditions made her an overnight sensation across Africa and the battle with Elsa in Round 2 was one of the most debated in the TV show’s history.

In 2017, she won the Cameroon Green Music Competition sponsored by the United Nations Environmental Program and is currently the Environment Ambassador for Cameroon.

It is no doubts that Lesline is a social justice activist and in pursuance of a social justice activist agenda, and to commemorate World Peace Day, she released a peace anthem titled “Stand 4 Peace” in collaboration with other Cameroonian musicians like Blaise B, Ewube and Malgic.
Lesline is also an entrepreneur and runs an African restaurant known as YUAFRIKA which was recently launched.
