Background
Slym Harley was born into a Christian family with his dad being a pastor which led to his musical journey at the the age of 4 as a drummer boy.He became a pianist at the age of 13 and started his circular career in 2016 and since then he has worked with artist like 2face on his first ever project titled ‘’ONE DAY’’ and production wise with artists like iyanya,Solid Star,Terri,Mr Leo,Salatiel,Kameni,Gomez,Daphne,Mihney etc.Slym Harley came back to Cameroon from Nigeria in 2019 and decided to focus on his musical journey alongside production especially with his experience in the Nigeria showbiz industry and there is a need to bring that knowledge to Cameroon and nurture it here.Since this transition,he has released songs like Play Me,Tombe,Nobody Ft Mr Leo and few collaborations.
With his real names Yaya Divine Bechemanyor born in the year September 15 1995,originally from south west region,Cameroon kumba with eight siblings.He attended ccas kumba and Fugosec where he had his ordinary level and later moved to EHS where he has his Advance level.He later move to Ngoa Ekele where he dropped out and moved to lagos for musical studies at 10 Strings Academy where he obtained his Bachelor of music education.

Slym Harley debuted his career professionally in 2018 with his debut single titled African Body followed by Nobody Ft Mr Leo which was a success in 2020.These got him a good share of fan attention and loyalty.On the 14 july 2021,Slym Harley released his most decorated single on the Cameroon soil titled ‘’AFRICAN LADY’’ft two industry heavy weight Stanley Enow and Tzy Panchak.

His influence and inspiration is coming from church Music as a pianist,and adrummer,cabaret music,dancehall and Dub,Neo Soul and jazz music which let him to discover his own sound called Afro Dub Soul and since then.he has been an act to watch out for.He was first sign under Nola Music but due to growth and expansion,with his vast knowledge into showbiz,he has created his own label Lee Records.
